One one the sources:
Clostridium difficile (C. diff.) is a bacteria that causes diarrhea and can cause a more serious intestinal condition called colitis.
The majority of C. diff infections are acquired in the hospital, and most patients remain asymptomatic. If symptomatic, the most common symptoms include: watery diarrhea, fever, loss of appetite, nausea, and abdominal pain or tenderness. If the patient is experiencing these same symptoms and has recently been out of the country, traveler’s diarrhea may be the culprit rather than C. diff. Escherichia coli (E. coli) is the most common bacteria associated with this disease. This is usually transmitted through contaminated water and food, hospitals and nursing facilities.
The largest risk factor for developing C. diff. colitis is recent antibiotic use. All antibiotics can be responsible, but the most common suspects are: clindamycin, ampicillin, cefotaxime, ceftriaxone, cefuroxime, ceftazidime, ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin, and moxifloxacin. I am sure that there are more, and with time that knowledge will surface.
Major risk factors include hospitalization or residence in long-term-care facilities, older age, or antacid treatment.
Your allopathic doctor should do a culture of the stool to see if C. diff is one of the bacteria present or if the toxins C. diff. can produce are present in the stool. This is not a fun test, rather crappy, but you need to know what you are dealing with.
A diagnosis of C. diff. is based on at least 3 unformed stools per day for at least 2 days plus a result of either the bacteria or toxin being present in the stool. There are other factors that cause severe diarrhea, so they need to be studied at a qualified lab.
Treatment includes discontinuing the antibiotic that may be causing the disease and hydration for loss of water through diarrhea. Vancomycin or metronidazole are usually the most common medications prescribed to treat the disease.
If C. diff. is suspected, OTC anti-diarrhea products such as Imodium should be avoided. These products slow gastric motility, which can cause a backup of the toxins the body is trying to get rid of.
The most important measures to take to prevent the spread of the bacteria to others is to wash hands properly with soap and water, especially after using the bathroom, and to clean surfaces in bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas with detergent and disinfectants.
Here is a training video for Hospitals, unfortunately one little germ can come in by means of a handrail, a untrained orderly or cleaning crew. The Hospital is a Nest for Viruses and one sure way to get a disease, is to not take care of your health and wind up there.
Clostridium Difficile Prevention
Here is an excellent educational video on the topic:
FIGHT C. DIFF – Educational Video
Most times this virus kills the elderly patients and as stated, it is highly contagious, so even those with comprimised immune systems are open to receiving this if they are around a person or condition that has c diff.
It is mostly picked up in hospitals. I believe it is one of the superbugs they warned us about years ago when everyone was over using antibiotics. Please note: Your own immune system is you antibiotics, so when you use prescription antibiotics, you kill off all bacteria, therefore, you also
kill off the good bacteria which is vital.
Yogurt is a great way to help restore your good bacteria in the gut.
Whole milk is the best and when you make yogurt from whole milk you are doing yourself a great service.
There are probiotics out there that can help. One that I use is called: “Complete Acidophilus Formula”, by Sedona Labs. 888-816-8804
This great probiotic helps to keep Candida in check. It is the Candidia that causes Cancer. It kepts my gut floral in check.
C.diff can cause many problems down the road if it isn’t nipped in the bud. You are dealing with E- coli which will kill, and not to put a pun on the wording, but it is a crappy way to go.
I have had family members and friends who had swore an oath of loyalty to their Allopathic Doctors and Hospitals, unfortunately to their own detriment. Each one had been over prescribed antibiotics for every little ailment and all had suffered the shits, literally speaking.
My step mother had it so bad that she was admitted to a rehabilitation facility, because she needed 24/7 care. It is my belief that she finally died from this condition although no autopsy was asked for by her siblings, who were the executives of her estate. She was a very dear lady and very missed. I had noticed that she had lost so much weight and life just seem to suck. I tried to keep her mood up when I visited but when I leave she had to deal with life again sucking. Living in the bathroom or the doctors office, or the hospital takes it’s toll on anyone.
The others who suffered had to stay in the hospital and were quarantined. This is seriously a bad virus, someone told me that it was gangrene of the blood. Is it contagious, absolutely and even lethal in many cases if not addressed properly.
I am not a fan of Hospitals, nor Allopathic Doctors. I do not take their poisons and very rarely took antibiotics.
The few times I did take antibiotics which was over a tooth abscess and it was needed, but I did eat lots of yogurt to regain my good bacteria, also I used a probiotic called: “Complete Acidophilus Formula”, by Sedona Labs. Find your preference at your local health food store. This one is rated number one. Even that it may seem a bit expensive, a hospital visit is far more costly, not only to your pocket but could also be the problems with your poor health. Just remember, Doctors are high paid drug pushers, who indirectly or directly work for big pharma.
I hope this information is helpful, it is a crappy topic and one we don’t share, but the importance is crucial to you and everone you love.
Okay so I am not a Doctor, but I read and study natural medicine all the time, for the past 10 years. Because of my knowledge my health and the health of my precious husband has been off the charts. We eat the food we grow, get other foods and or supplies from other local farmers or markets. It pays to study, instead of just absorbing what the TV is programming you to think.
Here is a video below that I like, you may as well.
C Diff Can Be Treated Naturally
It takes time, but I do believe it’s the safest treatment and most effective. Natural antibiotics like garlic and oregano and lots of probiotics.
BTW: The definition of Pharma
Comes from the a Greek word – pharmakeia: meaning Sorcery, Poison, Deception.
The Newer Testament is originally in Greek. So when you look up the Greek of the word “Sorceries”: it says this:
[pharmakeia /far·mak·i·ah/] n f. From 5332; GK 5758 and 5760; Three occurrences; AV translates as (sorcery) twice, and (witchcraft) once: 1 the use or the administering of drugs. 2 poisoning. 3 sorcery, magical arts, often found in connection with idolatry and fostered by it. 4 metaph. the deceptions and seductions of idolatry.
