Bury An Egg In Your Garden Soil, What Happens…

Bury An Egg In Your Garden Soil, What Happens Few Days Later Will Surprise You

Video by Natural Ways

Good soil means everything for a gardener looking to raise healthy, happy plants. While there are certainly countless chemicals and egg expensive solutions, there are actually many simple things you can do to boost nutrients and maintain a successful garden.
Curious to learn more? In this video I’ll show you 6 ways to make any type of soil enrich with nutrients naturally after which you’ll never feel the need to buy those expensive chemical fertilizers.

1. Raw Egg
The solution for a thriving plant may be as simple as planting a raw egg. As you prepare your pots with soil, simply include a single raw egg at the bottom. Over time, the egg will decompose and works as a natural fertilizer for the seedlings.

You can also use crushed eggshells which work just as good as whole egg.

Eggshell has calcium, nitrogen and phosphoric acid which make them an ideal choice for garden use.

So next time you boil or fry an egg don’t throw away the egg shell but instead Recycle them to grow seedlings. When the seedling is ready to be planted outside, place the shell and seedling directly in the ground. The eggshell will decompose over time and help fertilize the soil.

2. Banana Skins
Bananas contain a number of nutrients including potassium, phosphate, sulfur, calcium, magnesium and sodium. All of these things can help promote healthy growing for plants. best way to effectively use banana peels is to cut them up into small pieces so that they can decompose faster. This will result in organic matter that helps establish rich soil

3. Ash
If you have a fireplace, you’ll love this free method for raising pH levels. You simply scatter the ash around the soil as a way to lower acidic levels. This will make it easier to grow a fresh crop.

4. Leaves
Allowing leaves to rot over a garden during winter will provide nutrients for the soil to prepare it for the next growing season. The leaves work to pull the organic matter back down into the soil making it dark and rich.

5. Epsom Salt
Epsom salts are especially good for soil. Low pH levels are usually an indication of a magnesium imbalance. To boost pH levels in the soil, dilute Epsom salt with water and spray on the plants. The vegetation will soak up the welcomed nutrients.

6.Use Compost Regularly
While using bits and pieces of natural matter can be helpful, combining many pieces of compost will only go one step further toward enriching your soil.
There are a number of benefits of using natural compost regularly
it works to improve the soil structure while using less water and warding off common plant diseases. The soil benefits from added layers of nutrients, especially before a growing season.

How To Live And Survive Without Money

Amish Money: 10 Frugal Lessons from the Amish

Written by Dana O. Crandell

Amish people and communities are unique in many ways. To most outsiders, they’re known mostly as soft-spoken people who live a simple life, don’t use electricity and don’t drive cars. They’ve also had just enough bad press to make some people wary. No matter what your opinion of their beliefs, the traditional Amish lifestyle offers some financial advantages that anyone might consider adopting. Obviously, some adjustments involve sacrifices and commitments that not everyone is going to want to make, but the principles can still help you find ways to save. Here are some lessons to be learned from these “plain people”:

Sometimes “Need” Really Means “Want”

Most people cultivate a sense of need for things they could live without. Since most aren’t driven by a culture that abhors amenities, it can take a financial crisis to help a person realize what he or she can give up. How many times have you said, or heard said something like, “A person has to have some comforts.” to justify that second television, or a luxury car, or something similar? If saving money is your goal, take a look around and figure out what the real necessities are.

Simple is Good

In many ways, the things we spend extra money on either complicate our lives or end up costing more in the long run. A self-propelled lawnmower doesn’t cut grass any better; it’s just easier and has more moving parts to replace. A brisk hike in the fresh air is just as effective as that 30 minute stroll on an expensive treadmill and you’ll enjoy it more. Manual hedge clippers are half as expensive as electric, less noisy and give your arms some exercise.

Grow Your Own

I know, not everyone can raise livestock or big crops, but most of us can grow a few vegetables or herbs, even if they’re of the miniature, indoor variety. You’ll save some money and get better tasting, healthier produce, too.

Many Hands Make Light Work – and Less Expense

When big projects arise in an Amish community, family and neighbors pitch in to get it done. Granted, if you live in the city, a barn raising is pretty much out of the question, but that doesn’t mean that family and friends can’t pitch in to mend that back fence or build a deck. Building codes in most cities will allow a homeowner to do their own home improvements and “employ” someone to help. You’ll need a permit for most work, and there will be inspections, but if you can’t afford a contractor, some free meals and maybe a case of beer might go a long way toward paying your friends.

Craftsmanship Isn’t About Expensive Tools

The reputation of Amish woodworkers is based on attention to detail, patience and secrets handed down through generations. Many of their tools are hand-made. You’re probably wondering what that has to do with saving money. It’s simple. Photographers can create awesome images without the top-of-the-line DSLR. Web developers can create great sites without owning the latest computer or software. Whatever you do, don’t get caught up in needing the biggest and best. Be the master of the tools you own and save some money.

Take Care of Your Tools

Keeping the tools of your trade longer doesn’t mean letting them fall apart. Any skilled craftsman knows that without proper maintenance, tools fail. Keeping your equipment in shape means it will perform better, longer. Having to replace them because of premature failure isn’t cost-effective.

Quality is Worth the Investment

One of the reasons Amish furniture is in such high demand is that it lasts. Because of the meticulous construction methods and hand-selected materials, many Amish pieces become heirlooms. Sometimes saving money means paying a little more for something that you’re not going to be throwing away soon. Naturally, this applies to much more than furniture.

Make the Most of Resources

To an Amish farmer, a cow is a source of dairy products and fertilizer. A grove of trees can provide building materials, but needs to be managed well, because it also produces game for the dinner table, as well as other natural foods. Crops are rotated carefully to optimize soil condition and help control crop disease. Careful resource management helps Amish communities sustain themselves with little help from the outside. We can all save money by learning to manage, recycle and repurpose what we have.

Get the Most Out of What You Have

Those horse-drawn prams the Amish are so well known for are also handed down, and repaired or reconditioned many times over. So it is with their other possessions. The basic principle is that if something serves its purpose, it doesn’t need to be replaced. Imagine how much money you can save by keeping your car a few years after it’s paid off. How about refinishing the dining table instead of replacing it? Make what you own last a little longer and you’ll save.

Gifts Don’t Have to Break the Bank

Traditional Amish gifts for birthdays, etc. are simple, practical items and usually singular. A tool or an item of clothing is typical. While there’s no need to adjust your gift giving quite that radically, it wouldn’t hurt to consider buying one very thoughtful gift instead of a dozen expensive ones.

When it comes to surviving hard times, the Amish have sustained their culture and communities in North America for centuries, while relying mostly on themselves. What better example for those of us trying to provide for ourselves and our families in today’s economy?

Organic Pest Control Series

One of the first questions new gardeners ask is, “How do I keep bugs out of my garden?” The answer? You don’t! Bugs are a necessary (and sometimes helpful) part of every garden ecosystem. Learning to spot the “pests” among the “beneficials,” however, will help you keep your cool and cultivate your best garden ever.

In our Organic Pest Control Series, gardening expert Barbara Pleasant guides you through identifying the insects in your garden. The Common Garden Pests pages includes profiles for 15 bugs to bid farewell: aphids, cucumber beetles, grasshoppers, slugs and more. In the Beneficial Insects section, you’ll learn about 14 insect friends — from honeybees to garden spiders — that will actually make your garden stronger and healthier. Finally, you can check out the Using Organic Pesticides page for tips on how to get rid of those bad bugs for good. Beautifully illustrated by Keith Ward, the profiles included in this series are sure to get you pointed in the right direction.

We understand you might want to access this information while standing ankle-deep in rich garden soil, or bending over backwards to identify a new insect. For this reason, the Organic Pest Control Series is also available for your mobile device. Check out our Garden Insects Guide app, available in the MOTHER EARTH NEWS library app.

Raise Your Vibrations – Part 1

By AnGeleve

As many of us are getting ready for our 5D existence many are still wondering how they can raise their Frequencies to be able to Ascend.

These are just some of the things you can do to help raise your frequencies and perhaps there are more refined ways that I have not listed, we are all still learning.

I will do a series of these tips to help you.

Part 1:  Nature

To raise your vibrations I would say that one of the most important tips is: to connect with nature. Hug a tree, sit at the base of the tree and meditate. If you have any concerns, ills or problems, they will seem to drain away and you will be left felling clean and renewed, this is what the Spirit of the Trees and GAIA will do for you. In return you can share the Love and respect and your vibrations will be lifted. They will feel your Love and the mutual sharing of this Love Frequency will help to raise your frequencies. Be sincere, not just performing for the sake of performing. Know it and Feel it and it will be.

Plant flowers, trees, or something outside; perhaps create your own little garden to nurture your being, as Living Foods are one of the best ways to raise your frequencies. Nature is such a blessings and beauty, use the time you work with your plantings by talking or singing to your plants (do you not talk to your pets? It would be much the same idea). Don’t worry about what others may think as you sing in your garden, as this is time you are giving to Nature in pure Love. Do not use any chemicals. Most importantly Go Natural.

Blessings and Gratitude: Bless all you Plants, Trees, grass and flowers even the little creatures in Nature and always, always send Love to GAIA. In Love, you can call on the Sun, the Spirits of the Wind and Rain to be kind to your green friends and they will be. You will find the Love received and shared. Remember how our Ancient Ones respected Mother Earth and Father Sun and all of Life. These are some important lessons from these very wise souls.

Take a walk in nature: remove your shoes and let your feet touch the ground; feel the coolness of the earth beneath your feet, let your toes feel the cool grass between them like a child. Breathe in the sweet perfume of the wild flowers, watch the bees and butterflies as a child would. Be in wonder and awe like a child again and send your blessings and gratitude to all that you experience.  Take a book about trees and wild plants and try to name them. This is fun and will help you to connect and appreciate the qualities of these marvels and blessings of God.

Stop and enjoy the rocks on the ground. See the complexities and wonderment of what makes them and get to know them.  Get some books on stone identification and their qualities and what wondrous things they can do. I would suggest getting several books. One with Photos to help with Identification and the other for further information such as “Love Is in the Earth” and “The Crystal Bible” these are easy to Google or find at your local book stores.

Take a Crystal with you to comfort you, to protect you, to open you up if you feel you want to communicate with Nature or stop and Meditate. This of course is if you are aware of the Crystals and want to feel their magical energy.  Use this time to charge your crystals or stones and work on self healing of self and of GAIA.  As you share your energy and healing with GAIA you are raising your vibrations, the stones if you have selected these and cleanse them properly, they will aid in raising your frequencies. After all we are also Crystalline Beings of Light.  (there are many great videos and training films to help you with this but I will release some of my own in the future).

As you walk through the woods, forest, fields or just your yard, send Love to GAIA when you do this. Talk to the animals, plants and yes to the Fairies that you cannot see right now (just know that they are there). When you connect with nature, you will feel a deep peace and feeling of wonder and blessings. The gratitude you feel will be felt by all you touch and there will be oneness when you attempt to connect with nature. As you learn to connect and appreciate nature more, you allow your consciousness to rise; your frequencies or vibrations will naturally rise as a result.

Nature is amazing, and it has many more components to add to this story, but I shall stop for now and continue with a Part 2 later in this Series of Tips. Let me know if this is helpful to you.

Be Blessed,

AnGeleve.
