Ginger is a superfood. It possesses an amazing ability to enhance immunity, improve digestion and reduce inflammation.
Ginger contains several essential oils that make up its distinct aroma and flavor: zingerone, shogaols, & gingerols. These oils are powerful anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal and anti-parasitic agents. Ginger root promotes healthy digestion, boosts immunity, treats asthma, aids in cardiovascular health, relieves pain and much more.
Ginger Tea Benefits:
Ginger is a very effective remedy for headaches, flu, common cold and even sore muscles. Due to ginger’s unique substances, it is able to naturally stop pain (preventing prostaglandins from setting off an inflammatory response in the body).
Regular consumption of ginger tea strengthens the immune system. It contains great amounts of antioxidants that boosts immunity and helps fight off infections.
Just one cup of tea a day will minimize your chances of stroke, as ginger helps break down fat deposits that block arteries.
Due to the warming properties of ginger, it improves your blood circulation. Increased blood flow will improve the delivery of vitamins, minerals and oxygen to your body’s cells… aiding in overall health.
Ginger tea helps destroy the virus’ that cause common colds, cold sores, and influenza.
Ginger Kills 76% of Lung Cancer Cells in Vivo: For the first time ever, researchers have discovered that not only is ginger extract extremely toxic to lung cancer cells, but it’s metabolites (break-down products) are even more toxic! They observed that 6-Gingerol, a major anti-cancer compound of ginger, was metabolized into 6-gingerdiol inside the cancer cells, and that this metabolite killed up to 76% of the lung cancer cells. Ginger extracts have already shown potent activity against prostate cancer, pancreatic cancer, breast cancer, colon cancer and leukemia in previous lab studies, and this latest research has shed new light on exactly how ginger kills these cancer cells. And this super-herb’s health benefits extend beyond cancer. A recent clinical trial showed ginger improved insulin sensitivity and lowered insulin levels in adults with diabetes. And another study on middle aged women showed ginger to significantly improve memory and cognitive performance!

Note by Angel4Light:
I have been loading up on Ginger for some time now. It seems to give me energy and is quite delicious.
I have been making fruit smoothies for a number of years and one ingredient I always include is fresh ginger, it not only tastes great but the benefits are amazing.
I suffered with asthma for many years, ever since the Chemtrails became heavy and I would wheeze like an old woman who could hardly catch her breath. Well honestly I am an old woman but I am into Nature Health modalities and I research at every turn for any thing that can help make the quality of life better for myself and those I love. I also enjoy sharing my findings with you the reader.
As I stated above about the asthma issue, it was a pain and scarry experience many times when the coughing would set in and wheezing, there were moments when I could barely breathe. I use to use a nebulizer by prescription. It seem to help me, but I am so anti Drug that I had to find a better way.
I was making a Tea from Coltsfoot with honey and it did help, but as I read more about this natural herb, it had limitations. I don’t like limitations or side effects from too much consumption. So I continued my research.
I have found that the Ginger Tea or the Ginger Smoothies I make left me feeling fresh and my lungs clear and like a crisp like a clear Spring Day, before the Chemtrails destroyed our air quality.
Another tip I can share with you is menthol. Mint is amazing and helps to open you up. It can be added to teas, or a vaporizer to clear the head and lungs.
Additionally if I have a really hard time because I didn’t do my ginger tea or smoothie is to put Vicks Vapor rub under my nostrils and it helps to open my lungs quickly. I keep a small container readily available, or a combination oil of Peppermint with eucalyptus oil which can be purchased at most oriental food stores.
Here is the main reason for my asthma:
I was a heavy smoker for many years, smoking 2 packs a day. I got tired of coughing up brown flam and wheezing. I was young but sounded like an old fart. I quit cold turkey and never went back.
I was into vanity and saw anti smoking ads showing the wrinkles that was caused by the cancer stick. I didn’t know about the 300 plus toxins in cigarettes. For me it was a personal decision for health and no wrinkles. I am glad I was so vain and smart as it saved my life.
You will enjoy this delicious Ginger Tea as given above.
The Smoothies I make are super easy:
One Apple (remove the core)
One Mango (with the skin)
One Peaches (I peel mine)
One slice of Fresh Pineapple (with core but no skin)
1 teaspoon ground ginger
One frozen bananas (peel before the freeze. I froze one with the skin and it was a pain to peel when frozen )
Orange a few slices from the freezer including the skin. (I slice the fresh orange and put into a freezer bag for these delightful refreshing smoothies.)
I have added strawberries that I had frozen or Muscadine grapes which I have removed the seeds or blueberries
When my blender is too full to add the whole milk, I will pour out some of the blended mix into a bowl to allow room. Save this additional mixture for later. I have personally frozen the extra mixture in ice cube trays and then taken the cubes and put them into freezer bags for later use.
Sweeten with Honey to taste
If you want to turn this drink into a shake; then add some ice and keep blending until it thickens the way you want.
I promise you will have fun creating various fruit drinks. Adding more of one fruit and omitting others.
The key ingredient is Ginger and Honey for me, the rest is a delicious surprise for my taste buds but each fresh fruit is a blessing if benefits as well.
Freezing works:
I freeze most all my fresh fruits at their peek. The Muscadines are sliced in half to remove the seeds and are a delightful treat anytime. These keep for several months, I have kept it longer but it never makes it to the year mark as it is consumed before that, so I don’t know how long it would last and still taste good.
The fresh pineapple is sliced into 1/2 to 1″ slices with the core and peel. I place each slice into its own individual freezer bag. I peel the outer piece later.
I haven’t frozen mangos before. I don’t know, have you ever frozen mangos? Seems like it would work up good frozen.
I hope this has been of help to you or will help someone you know.
Be blessed
